2nd Birthday Party & Barney

We celebrated Brock's 2nd birthday with many family and friends at Huntington State Beach.  I thought it being mid July it was a great idea to be at the beach.  Well I wasn't the only one who thought it was, most of the O.C. did too.  The beach was so packed that they stopped letting in cars to park by 1:00 p.m.  I have many more pictures to post but I need to get them off my friends camera.  Here is my cake that I made of Barney.  Brock is obsessed with Barney right now.  The face did not quite turn out as I expected. Oh well he loved it and that's all that matters.  Next year I vow for a easier location.

Team Jacob -Eclipse Movie

So I have been following the The Twilight Saga and I had to go see the 3rd movie Eclipse.  Crystal and I went to see it the day it came out.  Now I opted out of seeing the midnight showing which the kind old man taking our ticket said 1400 people came to 4 sold out theatres.  We attended the 3:30 p.m. showing and to my liking not too many screaming teenage girls.  I am fully Team Jacob but I have read the books so I do know how the story ends.  It was great entertainment and had me wanting to read my book all over again.

We LOVE the 80's

Scott and I enjoy listening to tribute bands from the 80's. We ran across this band about a year ago but recently saw them again here locally in Long Beach.
